What Is HALO?
HALO is a laser treatment that restores the skin’s youthful glow. Over time, the face loses its natural luminance due to the aging process or sun exposure. HALO uses advanced technology to precisely target the damaged skin at the correct depth.
HALO is more effective than other laser treatments because it is customizable, allowing your aesthetic technician to tailor your treatment to suit your skin type and deliver the best results.
How Does a HALO Treatment Work?
During a HALO treatment, you will first receive a topical numbing cream to ease any discomfort. Your trained medical aesthetician will then measure the depth of your skin using the laser so that the treatment is most effective. During the laser treatment, some patients experience a warm or prickling sensation. The treatment takes about an hour, depending on the specific concerns you are addressing.
Some patients experience redness or swelling following HALO treatment, which should subside in the first few days. After your treatment, you will see results within about two to five days. Your skin will then continue to improve over time.
Results from HALO treatment will last for years. To maintain your new, youthful appearance, avoid sun damage by applying SPF regularly.
What Can HALO Treat?
HALO treats a variety of skin conditions, including:
- Sun damage
- Visible signs of aging
- Uneven skin tone
- Enlarged pores
- Poor texture
- Fine lines
